Thembi holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Inclusive Innovation from the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business, a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce Economics and Marketing. Thembi started out in the private sector, in the Fast-Moving Consumable Goods industry. Most recently however, she has experience in the non-profit and policy sector within social and early childhood development, working in partnership with government in KwaZulu-Natal as well as in the Eastern Cape. Her main focus was systems, research and data driven solutions. Thembi has an interest in socio-economic development and wishes to continue to be part of projects that impact rural communities and transitional communities.
